The ministry of All Saints Church reaches far beyond our church site
on Balcombe Road in South Orlando! Throughout the year, the Outreach
Ministry Team gives the congregation opportunities to provide support
and resources to meet human needs in the name of Christ.
Recent
activities have included a “Souper Bowl of Caring” on Super Bowl Sunday
to provide food, mostly cans of soup, for a local food bank. During
Lent we have engaged in “Miss-A-Meal-For-Meals-On-Wheels” as members
make a self-denial offering to support the Meals on Wheels program for
frail senior citizens through the Osceola Council on Aging.
In
September we gathered school supplies for clients of the Christian
Service Center in downtown Orlando, while in December we shared
“Christmas Dove” gifts with the children at the Christian Help center
in Seminole County.
And that’s just a sampling of the ways All
Saints Lutheran Church is engaged in Outreach Ministry, touching the
lives of people with the love of Christ.
We invite you to join
us in response to Jesus’ invitation in the parable of the compassionate
Good Samaritan, “Go and do likewise.”
